Position: Administrative Assistant to the School Administration

Summary: Assist the president, headmaster, admissions and development/alumni affairs staff with written correspondence, scheduling of appointments, database record keeping, telephone call screening and any other specific duties as assigned by the President or headmaster.

Duties:

  • Maintain calendar for the President, Headmaster, and Admissions Office. 
  • Prepare written correspondence, internal memos, and faxes as directed
  • Order office supplies as required
  • Maintain databases for both the Admissions Office and Development Office
  • Assist Development Office in event planning; homecoming, auction, etc. 
  • Answer telephone and direct incoming calls, as appropriate
  • Maintain Employee/Staff roster
  • Have a clear understanding of admissions requirements in order to assist parents, students, and visitors who may have questions
  • Assist Admissions Office in compiling data for weekly reports
  • Assess applicant files in conjunction with the Admissions Coordinator and Director
  • Support “open house” events and other activities focused on increasing enrollment
  • Prepare admissions packets for handouts and mailings to prospective students
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position:  Student Life Coordinator

Summary: The Student Life Coordinator is responsible for the Female Leadership Program and for scheduling, organizing, and ensuring completion of the Academy’s weekend activities program.

Duties:

  • Primary point of contact for parents of students in the Female Leadership Program
  • Supervision of the disciplinary system of the Female Leadership Program, including Merit/Demerit System, Honor Council, and Disciplinary Boards
  • Maintain accountability of students in the Female Leadership Program through formations, musters, and head counts
  • Responsible for the leadership training system for the program
  • Perform duties as assigned by the President or Headmaster
  • Assist in supervision of all Academy social activities and events
  • Required to live in the female dormitory and mentor/counsel female boarding students
  • Through coordination with the Commandant, be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of student life at the Academy, both civilian and military
  • Maintain the calendar of events, schedule events, organize, and be responsible for weekend social activities of the Academy
